The VP, Talent Acquisition role at Portage Point is a role that represents a unique opportunity for a highly capable professional with a proven track record of sourcing and placing candidates to make substantial contributions to overall firm growth. The individual will focus on flawless execution of our recruitment strategy and process, managing relationships with our agency partners, establishing our recruitment branding strategy, sourcing top tier talent across all levels and practice lines and maintaining a talent pipeline that results in achievement of diversity targets.

Responsibilites

    • Building and executing sourcing strategies
    • Building diverse talent pipelines
    • Working with leadership to identify recruiting targets, develop job descriptions and outline recruiting processes for a variety of roles
    • Supporting the development and execution of strategic recruiting initiatives
    • Maintaining and updating recruiting systems and standard operating procedure documents
    • Supporting all recruitment related logistics including pre-screening resumes, scheduling candidates and coordinating interviews
    • Conducting preliminary screens / process check-ins with candidates
    • Preparing offer documents for new hires
    • Maintaining talent dashboards and metrics
    • Identifying additional opportunities for personal and practice growth 

Qualifications

    • Strong desire to be a part of and contribute to the growth of a high performing team dedicated to unfettered individual and firm level achievements
    • Bachelor’s degree
    • 5+ years of recruiting experience, ideally in sourcing out of investment banking or private equity
    • Experience with candidate sourcing and selection
    • Familiarity with screening and/or behavioral interviews
    • Experience with recruitment branding
    • Experience with applicant tracking systems and HRIS systems preferred. Lever experience is a plus
    • Eagerness to be responsive at all times
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills including strong e-mail etiquette
    • Top-tier organizational skills and attention to detail
