Head of Finance & Strategy

We’re looking to hire our first Head of Finance & Strategy to build and scale this key function at Posh. Reporting to the CEO, this leader will oversee financial operations, forecasting and development of processes as we evolve through this critical juncture of corporate maturation. The Head of Finance & Strategy will embrace a player-coach role and contribute to Posh’s success by immediately shoring up our most pressing finance and strategy functions, while building the team to execute on company-wide strategic initiatives, accounting, and financial analysis and predictability.The right candidate will thrive by quantifying and adding data-first rigor to our company operations. This leader must also have outstanding communication and interpersonal skills and be at home engaging with various executives and board members.

You will:

    • Develop and implement efficient financial processes and systems that support a rapidly-growing business
    • Work alongside CEO and executive team to establish a strategic roadmap and growth targets for the business
    • Partner with leaders throughout the company to direct financial analysis, forecasting, and budget management for all internal departments
    • Drive operating cadence - board meeting prep, weekly executive huddles, and OKR process
    • Oversee accounting, audit and tax activities, driving financial hygiene throughout the organization
    • Collaborate with Posh’s executive team to evaluate strategic initiatives
    • Establish necessary reporting and financial controls, and strategic planning for key financial inflection points
    • Work with the product and growth teams to optimize product structures and corresponding pricing


    • Significant experience in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting in a high-growth environment
    • Experienced people leader who can build and grow a function from the ground up,  developing high-performing teams while instituting best practices
    • 5+ years of experience operating within a high-growth technology SAAS company experience partnering with Sales, Marketing, Product and other key cross-functional stakeholders
    • Prior experience in investment banking, VC, management consulting, and/or private equity strongly preferred
    • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills and proven experience in cultivating collaborative working relationships with teams across an organization
