Planned Parenthood Los Angeles is seeking an experienced Security surveillance coordinator who will monitor all of Planned Parenthood’s health centers and headquarters.  As a surveillance specialist, their main job is to analyze, monitor and report any issues that may arise at any of Planned Parenthood locations.  The surveillance coordinator supports the Security Manager in creating trend reports and completing work order assignments to support the Agency’s business and goals. Swing shifts of( 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM or 10:30 PM - 6:30 AM open availability. Some on call work as needed. Open availability Monday-Saturday needed.

Our Ideal Candidate will have the following qualifications:

    •     Abortion patients are cared for at each of our health centers and in part through the administrative, support, and other non-clinical services provided at all PPLA locations and by all PPLA employees, and supporting these critical services is an essential job duty and fundamental responsibility of all employees and contractors.  
    • Willing to work swing shifts. Swing shifts of 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM or 10:30 PM - 6:30 AM open availability. Some on call work as needed. Saturdays as needed.
    • SOC - Security operations experience Preferred.
    • Front desk & security access experience Preferred.
    • Customer service Preferred.
    • Hospitality Preferred.
    • Ability to communicate effectively with multiple audiences. 
    • Ability to work independently and as a team member. 
    • Ability to prioritize and manage numerous projects simultaneously. 
    • Self-motivated, with ability to work with little direct supervision. 
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
    • Accuracy and attention to detail essential. 
    • Professional appearance and attitude. 
    • Ability to work overnight shifts.
    • Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings as required. 
    • Ability and willingness to travel within Los Angeles County.
    • Reliable means of transportation for onsite and off-site work.
    • If using a personal vehicle to drive for work purposes, a valid CA driver license and current auto insurance in compliance with the minimum requirements of CA vehicle code are required.

    • EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
    • High school diploma or equivalent required.
    • One (1) to three (3) year experience in security operations.
    • Two (2) years’ experience of closed-circuit television system and alarm monitoring. (CCTV)

    • Hiring Range: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour (Non-Exempt) 
$25 - $30 an hour
