Planned Parenthood Los Angeles is seeking a Manager, Development Operations and Donor Analytics to to provide overall support to the Development Department’s fundraising efforts through analytical research, reporting, and list pulls. The Manager will work as a member of the Development Operations Team and support maintenance of the donor database and healthy data hygiene.

Our Ideal Candidate will have the following qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in scientific research and/or donor analytics required.
    • A minimum of two (2) years’ experience working within Development department required.
    • Minimum 3 years of experience working with Raiser’s Edge software required.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) and the Internet required. Research Point, Wealth Engine, ImportOmatic or similar resources preferred.
    • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, as required.
    • Ability and willingness to travel within Los Angeles County.
    • Reliable means of transportation for onsite and off-site work.
    • If using a personal vehicle to drive for work purposes, a valid CA driver license and current auto insurance in compliance with the minimum requirements of CA vehicle code are required.

About the Position:

    • Abortion patients are cared for at each of our health centers, and in part through the administrative, support, and other non-clinical services provided at all PPLA locations, and by all PPLA employees. Supporting these critical services is an essential job duty, and a fundamental responsibility of all employees and contractors.
    • In partnership with Development program managers and the Director, Development Operations, identifies relevant giving metrics that can be generated and provided to the Development program managers to help bolster fundraising.
    • Creates analytical reports in support of PPLA’s fundraising efforts. Independently pulls, reviews, and researches giving trends to provide data-driven analytical reports and summaries. Prepares and presents findings, including data-driven recommendations for areas of focus based on trends identified.
    • Manages Annual Report recognition list pulls and review process, as well as maintains Donor Recognition fields in the database.
    • Prepares various complex database ad hoc reports to support department needs. Including but not limited to extract and prepare donor solicitation and recognition lists, implement NCOA updates and other duties as needed. Independently manipulates large amounts of data to produce accurate outputs.
    • Manages weekly PPOL (Planned Parenthood Online) donation pulls, uploads, weekly and quarterly reconciliations. Responsible for overseeing all aspects of PPOL.
    • Acts as the lead and manages online communications platform EveryAction.
    • Provides general oversite of all data functions related to the regular operations of the Development Department. Works with Director, Operations to device database enhancements, process improvements, and enhanced techniques.
    • Helps enforce best data hygiene practices. Identifies areas of need and regularly implements projects to enhance and streamline database usage.
    • Identify and manage supplemental database vendors to support agency’s fundraising goals.
    • Provides departmental Raiser’s Edge support. Co-hosts and facilitates monthly Raiser’s Edge User Group meetings and assists with Raiser’s Edge training of new staff.
    • Provides on-going support to the Gift Processing Team; serves as a backup to gift processing and weekly online gift imports.

    • Hiring Range: $86,000.00 - $103,000.00 (Exempt)
