Planned Parenthood Los Angeles is seeking an experienced Financial Systems Manager to work in our Downtown Los Angeles Headquarters. Reporting to the Director of Financial Planning & Analysis and Systems, the Financial Systems Manager is instrumental in enhancing financial operations through driver-based planning, data analytics, process automation, and financial reporting. This role is pivotal in maintaining and developing financial and KPI reporting tools to effectively measure and optimize the organization's financial and operational performance.

Our Ideal Candidate will have the following qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in finance or equivalent work experience required.
    • Proficiency in Great Plains, Acumatica, Prophix, required
    • Minimum of 7 years of advanced Excel experience, including data analysis, report writing, and development required.
    • Minimum 5 years’ experience required with full-scope ERP system or CPM solution implementation, preferably in a leadership role required.
    • Minimum 5 years’ experience required in creating workflow diagrams and process documentation to explain technical processes to non-technical audiences.
    • Minimum 5 years’ experience required managing vendors.
    • Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings as required. 
    • Ability and willingness to travel within Los Angeles County.
    • Reliable means of transportation for onsite and off-site work.
    • If using a personal vehicle to drive for work purposes, a valid CA driver license and current auto insurance in compliance with the minimum requirements of CA vehicle code are required.

About the Position:

    • Abortion patients are cared for at each of our health centers, and in part through the administrative, support, and other non-clinical services provided at all PPLA locations, and by all PPLA employees. Supporting these critical services is an essential job duty, and a fundamental responsibility of all employees and contractors.
    • Develop comprehensive financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, analysis, and reporting of key operating metrics.
    • Audit financial models to ensure accurate and timely data, facilitating informed decision-making.
    • Review all processes and models are designed for long-term sustainability and can adapt to changing business needs.
    • Manage individual work streams effectively, serve as a data expert for business processes, and actively develop innovative solutions for complex problems.
    • Develop strategies and processes to integrate with financial systems, including but not limited to Acumatica, Great Plains, and Prophix applications.
    • Automate and enhance manual processes using technology and various systems.
    • Design and implement effective processes using available technology as a solutions expert.
    • Lead the enhancement of Corporate Performance Management (CPM) systems to support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis, aligning with organizational objectives.
    • Establish and enforce data governance policies and procedures to uphold the integrity, security, and reliability of financial information across ERP and CPM platforms.
    • Collaborate with Financial Planning and Analysis Manager and IT department to automate and create integrations for seamless data flow from EHR to other Financial Systems and reporting platforms.
    • Collaborate closely with management on key financial reporting activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance reporting.
    • Provide accurate and comprehensive ad hoc analytical support, while effectively communicating context and assumptions.
    • Cultivate strong relationships with department in the Agency as the data subject matter expert in business situations
    • Manage day to day vendor relationships including but not limited to implementation, follow ups, etc.
    • Collaboration with IT on implementation of financial systems, to ensure compatibility with internal programs and security levels meet Agency’s standards.

    • Hiring range: $126,667 - $152,000 per year (Exempt)
