Planned Parenthood of Northern, Central and Southern New Jersey, Inc. (PPNCSNJ) provides comprehensive reproductive and sexual health care, abortion services, education and information to women, men and teens at 17 health centers throughout 18 counties in New Jersey.

In partnership with the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Board of Directors, the Vice President of Development provides strategic planning and direction to all fundraising and development activities for all components of the organization.  The Vice President of Development will drive and forge new relationships to build Planned Parenthood’s visibility, impact, and financial resources to meet its current challenging goals and future growth requirements. 
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the VP will be responsible for building a strong culture of philanthropy while strengthening and enhancing the donor portfolio, cultivating relationships with donors and the Board of Directors and implementing a strategic development plan.  The VP will focus on major gifts as well as maintain a major gifts portfolio of their own; and provide leadership and direction to the Planned Parenthood development team. 
Minimum Education:  A Bachelor’s degree or commensurate work experience in a related field is required.  A Master degree in a related field is preferred. 
Minimum Work Experience:  Ten plus years in fund development, communications and management experience. 
Other Requirements: Have a current driver’s license, current insurance, own or have reliable transportation.  COVID 19 Vaccination and booster required.  Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) certification preferred.
