 Position Summary: Under the supervision of the Vice President, Human Resources and Compliance, provides administrative, technical and strategic human resources and compliance-related support and functionality on areas such as: employee outreach and support, orientation process, training resources, retention & staff engagement efforts, HRIS support, daily administrative and operational support, overseeing personnel file compliance, and auditing and compliance in support of continuous survey readiness, benefit administration and DEI support. 

Essential Functions: 
• Collaborate with Human Resources Generalist (Associate) with a full understanding of this position’s role and responsibilities including all HRIS functionality, report writing and report production. 
• Assist the VP, Human Resources and Compliance with the preparation and update of the HR Policy Manual and Employee Handbook (Policy Tech user) 
• Recruitment: support and back-up the Talent Acquisition Manager as needed based on the ebb and flow of vacancies and key staffing needs. Assist in post-hire interviews and exit interviews if needed during high volume and vacancy. 
• Conduct (NET) New Employee Orientation and participate in the ongoing NET schedule and recommend and update presentation and materials, as needed. 
• Consult with supervisors and hiring managers on support issues, staffing needs, interpretation of personnel policies and procedures, performance review process and performance management support and strategies. 
• Benefits Administration: liaison with Benefits Consultant on ongoing benefits administration, and benefits platforms: medical, dental, vision, life, supplemental life and AD & D and with VP, Human Resources and Compliance, preparation for annual (OE) open enrollment period during the 4th quarter of each year. 
• Assist Human Resources Associate in communicating changes to employees and process changes within deadlines through HRIS open enrollment portal. 
• Contribute to exit interview process as coordinated by the TAM (Talent Acquisition Manager) on voluntary resignations by; analyzing trends and feedback and presenting recommendations to VP, Human Resources and Compliance on management for areas of improvement; prepare quarterly and annual turnover reports. 
• Employee Engagement: work with VP, Human Resources and Compliance on data and trends on the periodic Press Ganey Employee Engagement Survey. 
• With Human Resources Associate/Generalist, coordinate process of data extraction and preparation of annual benefit summaries (“Total Rewards Statements”) for all full-time and part-time employees. 
• Compliance Dashboard – contribute as assigned by VP, Human Resources and Compliance on data elements, updates and follow-up.  Leave Management: primary - coordinate all initial leave requests and initial employee communication and liaison with Leave Vendor on the full cycle of leave activity and aspects including: FMLA, NYS Disability, STD, LTD, NYS PFL and Personal LOA (Leave of Absence) and return to work coordination with program oversight provided by the VP, Human Resources and Compliance. Ensure that Human Resources Associate coordinates employee monthly benefit contribution during unpaid process of active leave. 
• DEI: contribute to the Department’s focus and evolving efforts including assisting the VP, Human Resources and Compliance on the tracking and trending of data relative to the key dimensions of diversity and candidate/applicant tracking. The data analysis will support the affiliate’s commitment; to assist with the monthly tracking and data analysis which will support efforts to assess tends to help forecast and provide adjustments where necessary – increase or sustain. 
• Workers Compensation become a secondary support on all elements of Workers Comp as coordinated by the (primary) Director, Regulatory and Compliance.
 • Coordination of and regular update and maintenance to the Job Description Library to ensure compliance. • PP Bravo - Employee Recognition: provide support to VP, Human Resources and Compliance with periodic communications and support on future developments to the program. 
•Assume additional responsibilities as assigned by the Vice President, Human Resources and Compliance. 

Non-Essential Functions: • Serve as confidential resource for staff regarding work or personal matters affecting job performance. • Serve as department support in the absence of the Vice President, Human Resources and Compliance. • Regularly checks personal PPHP email account for important affiliate affiliate-related communications, at least every 24 hours. 

Qualifications: Experience, Education and Licensure 

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, or related field preferred. 
• Minimum of three- five years’ experience in all aspects of Human Resources operational and administrative realm and can provide resourceful and practical problem-solving solutions. 
• Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. 
 Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, PP and HRIS Systems. • Ability to research and analyze various types of data and information. 
• Ability to organize and prioritize work. 
• Respect and support all aspects of the highly confidential and sensitive nature of human resources work and conduct oneself with professional integrity 
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff and managers. 
• Convey a positive and professional image to candidates and staff. 
• Flexible, fluid, adaptable and available to work evenings and weekends, as needed. 
• Commitment to the mission and goals of Planned Parenthood. 

$65,000 - $70,000  annual salary depending upon new graduate or years of relevant experience. Includes: extra shift incentive program, quarterly clinician incentive program, and an additional quarterly incentive program.
