Planned Parenthood League of Massachusetts (PPLM) is seeking a dynamic and mission-driven Associate Director of Community Education & Engagement to lead the strategic implementation and daily operations of our youth and parent education programs across multiple regions. This leadership role is essential in ensuring program excellence, expanding access to comprehensive sexual and reproductive health education, and fostering strong community partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage youth and parent education programs across Boston, Central MA, and Western MA, both in-person and virtually.
- Supervise a team of five educators, ensuring high-quality delivery of the Get Real Teen Council and Let’s Be Honest/Seamos Honestos curricula.
- Ensure program fidelity and compliance with the Massachusetts Department of Public Health’s Adolescent Sexuality Education (ASE) grant requirements.
- Collaborate with internal teams to expand national training offerings through workshops and digital platforms.
- Develop and facilitate training for the Let’s Be Honest/Seamos Honestos curricula.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with community partners.
- Manage program budgets and contribute to policy development alongside the VP of Education, Learning, & Engagement.
- Represent PPLM at conferences, community events, and professional gatherings.
- Support grant writing and identify new funding opportunities in partnership with the Development team.'
- Availability for occasional evening and weekend workshops.
- Willingness to travel statewide as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Additional Expectations
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree preferred (e.g., MEd, MSW, MPH) or equivalent combination of education and 5+ years of relevant experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in staff supervision and team leadership.
- Proficiency in Spanish is a plus.
- Proven experience in teaching and training diverse audiences, including youth, adults, and professionals.
- Strong public speaking, communication, curriculum development, and lesson planning skills.
- Deep commitment to PPLM’s mission and principles of equity and inclusion.
$80,000 - $90,000 a year
