A non-profit reproductive healthcare organization seeks an experienced, innovative, and collaborative Vice President for Health Services who can oversee and manage medical programs and services at six health centers. The ideal candidate should support the organization's mission and lead transformative programs that can have a lasting impact on the community. The organization's primary focus is reproductive healthcare services.
 
Reports to: Chief Executive Officer and President
 
Supervises: Director of Nursing, Clinical Nurse Educator, Director of Compliance, Quality and Risk Management
 
Duties: In collaboration with the Medical Director and Associate Medical Director, this position is responsible for developing clinical programs, implementing medical policies, and maintaining clinical standards. Some Key Responsibilities are:

- Provide strategic leadership for all clinical departments and programs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Oversee clinical quality assurance, patient safety, and compliance with all regulatory, licensure, and reporting requirements of the New Jersey Department of Health, Planned Parenthood Federation of America, and the New Jersey Family Planning League.
- Collaborate with medical staff, senior leadership members (finance, operations, development, and external affairs), and community partners to expand services and improve patient outcomes.
- Develop and implement policies, procedures, and best practices to enhance service delivery and operational efficiency.
- Manage budgets, staffing, and resources to ensure sustainable and effective clinical operations.
- Foster a culture of excellence, innovation, and compassion within the clinical teams.
- Stay current on emerging trends and best practices in women’s health and healthcare management.
- Represent the organization at community events, professional associations, and public health initiatives.

The incumbent will lead the building, implementation, and oversight of all aspects of the organization's healthcare services and work closely with other executive leaders from other départements such as finance, operations, development and external affairs. 

Qualification, Competencies, and Skills

    • Master’s degree in healthcare administration, leadership, public health, nursing, or a related field.
    • Minimum of 5-10 years of leadership experience in healthcare, must have a focus on clinical services management, preferably in women’s health/reproductive health setting.
    • Proven track record of managing multidisciplinary teams and clinical operations.
    • Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations, quality standards, and reimbursement policies.
    • Exceptional communication, leadership, and strategic planning skills.
    • Passion for women’s health and commitment to equitable, patient-centered care.
    • The ideal candidate should have proven record of accomplishment of transforming and growing an organization through strategic planning and effective implementation.  In addition, the candidate should possess excellent leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate individuals and groups. They should be decisive and able to take action on critical issues to ensure the success of the medical programs.

$185,451 - $204,160 a year
