SUMMARY OF JOB: The Public Affairs department is looking for an individual to work on specific projects within various PPRM administrative department, and at times for other departments. These projects will come sporadically and have soft deadlines. You will have detailed explanation of how to meet the requirements for said project(s), and since all work regarding these project(s) must be done within our Denver Stapleton office, there will be plenty of opportunities to ask for guidance as necessary. This is an unpaid, ongoing, volunteer opportunity.
 
SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Specific duties and responsibilities will change depending on the project. You can expect your work to be done via computer or laptop provided to you within our administrative offices. You can generally expect administrative clerical type work such as spreadsheet and hard copy file maintenance and mailing.
 
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: College grad and/or active student is ideal but absolutely not a requirement.
 
TIME COMMITMENT: On average you could expect to be in the office 2 times a week for a few hours each visit. However, the schedule is incredibly flexible, and you will work one on one with the Volunteer Manager to find which days in the week work best for you and PPRM.
 
MUTUAL EXPECTATIONS FOR ROLE: As this is an unpaid position, prospective candidates should not expect any type of compensation or benefits for full filling this role. Occupancy of this role/involvement with PPRM does not necessarily lead to part- or full-time employment. Although there are hourly expectations set by the organization, scheduling is flexible and ultimately up to the volunteer/intern’s availability. Volunteer/Intern will effectively communicate their schedule of availability, and PPRM will determine whether or not the amount of availability that volunteer/intern has is adequate to meet the need(s) of the position.

While performing the duties of this job, the volunteer may be required to sit, stand, kneel, stoop, and operate common office equipment such as computer, calculator, fax machine, printer, projection equipment, etc. May be required to lift up to 20 pounds.
