PPRO is growing rapidly, in the role of the Tax Manager, you are responsible for supporting this growth and the internationalisation of our business. You will be responsible for all relevant tax topics, including monitoring and establishment of a tax compliance system and the transfer pricing strategy.

You will be part of our Finance team, located with professionals in Munich, Luxembourg and London and will be working closely together with our Accounting, Treasury and the Controlling team across the globe.

What will you be doing:

    • You are responsible for the preparation of corporate income tax returns and trade tax returns, the preparation of tax balance sheets, incl. the e-balance sheets for the German entities
    • You verify tax assessments issued by the tax authorities and initiate respective tax appeals if needed
    • Your task includes the calculation of actual and deferred taxes for quarterly and annual financial statements under IFRS
    • You are responsible for the tax audit management for PPRO companies; in this regard you are the first contact person for tax auditors and their questions and statements
    • You are involved in German tax compliance processes and support the optimisation and digitisation of tax processes in your area of act
    • Monitoring and development of the groups Transfer-Pricing Documentation
    • Provide tax advice for the group as well as foreign subsidiaries e.g. on financing and pricing structure; optimise internal and external pricing and pricing mechanisms 
    • Implement and monitor a tax compliance system

Who are you:

    • University degree or similar qualification with a focus on accounting and taxation
    • At least 8 years of professional experience in an international group or an accounting or tax consulting company 
    • Strong VAT and TAX knowledge is a must (Local and international)Profound know-how and experience in accounting standards 
    • Basic knowledge in IAS 12 and tax reconciliations under IFRS
    • Proactive, organised and independent problem solver with strong analytical skills
    • Enjoy working professionally within an international environment and various teams and external advisors
    • Proficiency in English is essential
