The Purpose:
As a UX Designer, you’ll be responsible for creating user-centred designs for our digital applications, focusing on optimising, improving, and innovating the overall user experience.
You will be a member of the Interfaces team responsible for user interfaces across the business, collaborating closely with product managers and engineers to identify user needs and pain points and develop solutions that meet both user and business objectives.
You’ll be working on building a new portal for both external clients and internal teams. This is an exciting opportunity to leave your mark on the next generation of applications at PPRO. You’ll also help to build payment products, such as the Drop-in Checkout.
What you will be doing:
- Conducting user research and analysing user metrics to identify user needs and behaviours.
- Creating wireframes, prototypes, and visual designs that effectively communicate design concepts to stakeholders and developers.
- Designing user interfaces (UI) that are intuitive, accessible, and visually appealing.
- Conducting usability testing and gathering user feedback to validate and refine design concepts.
- Working with frontend developers to ensure design concepts are implemented accurately and effectively.
- Continuously finding ways to improve the user experience to increase user satisfaction.
- Staying up-to-date with emerging UX/UI design trends and technologies to implement best practices.
Who we are looking for:
- Strong problem-solving capabilities with a comprehensive understanding of user-centred design principles, ensuring designs meet both user needs and business goals.
- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written), with the ability to articulate ideas clearly.
- A talent for compelling storytelling through design is highly valued.
- A portfolio of work demonstrating your design expertise, creative process, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Figma, with the ability to create detailed, high-fidelity designs.
- Proven experience in the development and implementation of design systems and guidelines to ensure consistency across products.
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is an advantage, with the ability to collaborate effectively with developers.
- Fluent in English, with all work conducted in English, both written and spoken.
- A self-driven, motivated individual who thrives in a collaborative international team environment. You will work with clients and colleagues from diverse cultures and regions.
