While our company mission is to keep innovating global commerce, our internal mission is to #chooseaction, #beopen, #thinkcustomer, #gofurther and #wintogether

The Purpose:

As a Senior Product Manager (L6) in PPRO’s Risk Domain, you will own and evolve our external risk platform, with a specific focus on modernising how PPRO handles disputes and chargebacks. You will drive the vision, strategy, and delivery of our Global Disputes Platform, an initiative central to safeguarding PPRO’s operations, scaling with confidence, and improving the customer experience through automation and proactive risk mitigation.

You will work at the intersection of product, engineering, risk operations, compliance, and external partners to define and deliver a unified, programmatic approach to dispute and chargeback management across our LPM and card network footprint.

What You Will Be Doing

    • Own and execute product strategy for dispute and chargeback management as part of PPRO’s Global Risk Platform.
    •  Drive product discovery and delivery - Partner with engineering and RiskOps teams to replace manual, fragmented processes with a scalable, API-driven platform.
    • Standardise dispute and chargeback data flows across schemes and providers to enable proactive risk intervention and improve merchant engagement.
    • Deliver programmatic dispute handling capabilities, including alerts, status updates, and evidence submission, through PPRO’s Global API and dashboard UI integration.
    • Work hands-on with data to surface actionable insights that drive dynamic reserves, merchant scoring, and real-time risk responses.
    • Define and track success metrics for dispute resolution speed, volume coverage, and automation rates.
    • Collaborate closely with Commercial, Compliance, and Platform teams to embed dispute intelligence into onboarding, monitoring, and merchant lifecycle decisions.
    • Stay on top of market expectations. Understand the evolving landscape of LPM and scheme requirements, such as Zip enablement and regional regulatory needs, to shape roadmap priorities.

What Success Looks Like

    • Launch of a scalable, API-first dispute platform embedded into PPRO’s Global API and dashboard.
    • Improved visibility and timeliness of dispute data across LPMs, cards, and regions.
    • Higher automation rates and reduced manual handling by RiskOps and merchants.
    • Tangible reduction in downstream chargebacks and operational losses.
    • Increased partner and merchant satisfaction driven by improved transparency and tooling.
    • Stronger, data-driven merchant risk scoring through integrated dispute signals.

What We Are Looking For

    • Product leadership: Experience owning and scaling platform-level features in fintech, risk, or payment environments.
    • Risk domain expertise: Understanding of disputes, chargebacks, and broader risk controls in payments.
    • Data-driven mindset: Confidence working with structured and unstructured data to inform prioritisation and design.
    • Technical acumen: Comfort working with APIs, data pipelines, and collaborating closely with engineering teams.
    • Execution focus: Ability to move from vision to delivery, with a pragmatic and iterative approach.
    • Cross-functional collaboration: Proven ability to partner with RiskOps, Compliance, Commercial, and external partners.
    • Customer-centric thinking: Passion for building frictionless tools that empower users and partners.
    • Languages: English required. German, Spanish, or Portuguese is a plus.
