The Purpose:
Are you a hands-on IFRS and consolidation expert ready to make a significant impact within a dynamic, international FinTech environment? PPRO is seeking a talented Group Accountant to join our Technical & Group Accounting headquarters in Munich. You'll become a vital part of the team responsible for the integrity and accuracy of our IFRS Group Financial statements, covering over a dozen entities worldwide.
This role goes beyond reporting — it involves shaping processes, implementing best practices, and collaborating with a skilled global accounting team. (Munich, London, Luxembourg, Mexico City, Sao Paulo, Singapore). Your impact in this role:
- Drive Global consolidation: Play a key role in preparing, documenting, and analysing PPRO's consolidated IFRS financial statements.
- Enhance Processes: Execute complex consolidation entries and actively contribute to improving the efficiency and accuracy of our financial statement process.
- Develop Quality Standards: Design and implement standardized component reporting packages and contribute to robust quality controls
- Master IFRS Complexity: Analyse and advise on specialized IFRS accounting topics, ensuring compliance and best practice.
- Implement New Standards: Support the technical and procedural implementation of new IFRS requirements across the accounting function and maintain global accounting guidelines
- Ensure Local Compliance: Support on the preparation of the statutory (HGB) single entity financials of our German Group Entities.
- Liaise with Experts: Serve as contact for the Group and German subsidiaries financial auditors
What would make you a great fit:
- Proven Expertise: professional experience (ideally 3+ years) in consolidation and external reporting (IFRS essential, HGB strong advantage) gained within an international company or a large auditing firm.
- Process improvement mindset: Demonstrable Experience in designing or improving consolidation processes and harmonizing reporting packages by components
- Reporting Acumen: Experience in preparing IFRS Group disclosures and German Management Reporting (Lagebericht)
- Solid foundation: Successfully completed a business degree, ideally with a focus on accounting and/or auditing.
- Language Skills: Fluent German and English skills, both spoken and written
- Proactive and Collaborative: An enthusiastic self-starter who can drive projects independently, coupled with strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with remote teams.

Our office - Located on St.-Martin-Straße, one stop from Ostbahnhof on the 3 and 7 S-lines.
