Planned Parenthood South Atlantic (PPSAT) is searching for a Chief Financial Officer. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a seasoned and highly committed senior management team within a rapidly growing, diverse, and thriving organization. We are seeking an inspired finance leader who will function as a strategic partner to the senior management team and operate with a sense of urgency. The CFO must have strong leadership skills and a genuine interest in developing the team. The ability to solidify collaborative relationships across the organization will be critical to this role.
The position is hybrid and candidate may reside in North Carolina, South Carolina, West Virginia, or the western half of Virginia.

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will have responsibilities in budgeting, cost analysis, cost management, and revenue forecasting. This strategic role requires oversight of staff, collaborating well with peers and colleagues within the organization, and a strong level of strategic decision-making ability. The winning candidate should demonstrate a high level of emotional intelligence and high standards of execution along with contemporary approaches to leading teams that are adept at handling controversy and conflict. Candidates should also prove effectiveness in remaining calm under pressure internally.
Who You Are:
The ideal candidate should have a grasp of the changing health care environment, business, scalable systems deployment when necessary, managing 501(c)3 and 501(c)4 financials, billing and payroll, revenue cycle management, compliance, labor laws, and the integration and growth of new services. Candidates should prove effectiveness working in partnership with a well-coordinated leadership team to support emerging business strategies. Previous experience should include IT, real estate expansions, working with purchasing, leasing, and property management in general, as well as handling organizational growth and the financial impacts of expanding services, staff, and premises. The successful candidate must be aligned with all aspects of the organization’s mission.
What You Offer:
Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field from an accredited college or university or Bachelor’s degree in related field with combination of five years’ minimum management experience in related field or 16 years’ related experience in lieu of degrees.
Minimum ten years of experience in senior-level finance or accounting position with at least the previous five in a senior management capacity.
Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
Knowledge of federal and state financial regulations.
Working knowledge of short- and long-term budgeting and forecasting, rolling budgets, and product-line profitability analysis.
Candidate may reside in North Carolina, South Carolina, West Virginia, or the western half of Virginia, with travel to Raleigh, NC and all over the region as required for business needs.

PPSAT's compensation philosophy is based in equity and transparency. Starting offers are determined by both the candidate's experience and internal equity within the pay grade. The pay range for this position is $189,400.00 to $265,200.00 paid annually.
