What's interesting about this job? 
The Nurse Supervisor is an integral part of the Patient Services Department and Health Center team.  They ensure that the health center teams provide family planning and abortion services in accordance with PPSAT and PPFA polices, protocols, and procedures.  The Nurse Supervisor works closely with the Nursing Director to effectively lead, mentor, and coach the Recovery Room Nurses.

What You’ll Do: 
Provide supervision, mentoring, and coaching to the Recovery Room Nurses to enhance their professional development and maximize potential.  
Lean in to provide regular Recovery Room Nurse shift coverage and coverage for PTO, call outs and emergencies. 
Responsible to remain informed about family planning methods, abortion issues and technology, and services offered by PPSAT. 
Provide feedback regarding training and continuing education needs for recovery room nurses.   
Fill the NC state-mandated role of Nursing Director if the Nursing Director is not available. 
Travel to PPSAT health centers to provide ultra-sound training and or coverage and support patients receiving moderate sedation 
Participate in routine audits and quality assurance/management procedures.   
40 hours a week with varying hours depending on coverage needs. Occasional night and weekend work will be required.

Compensation:  This position's minimum pay rate is $68,000.00 annually.  Starting offers are determined by both the candidate's experience and internal equity within the pay grade. PPSAT's compensation philosophy is based in equity and transparency. Built from data driven compensation studies, our positions are placed within a developed pay grade
