SALARY RANGE: $100 - 125K (based on experience)
LOCATION: Atlanta, Georgia (Hybrid)
SUMMARY
The Chief of Staff serves as a strategic partner and trusted advisor to the President & CEO, ensuring organizational effectiveness and alignment of priorities across Planned Parenthood Southeast. This individual will lead cross-functional initiatives, streamline operations, manage executive office functions, and serve as a key liaison between executive leadership and internal/external stakeholders. This is a mission-driven leadership role ideal for a seasoned, organized, and politically astute individual who thrives in a dynamic, justice-focused environment.
Essential Responsibilities
Executive Leadership & Strategic Alignment
● Serve as a thought partner to the CEO in developing and implementing PPSE’s strategic plan, annual goals, and board priorities.
● Translate high-level vision into actionable plans across departments.
● Coordinate strategic initiatives and ensure follow-through across leadership teams.
Internal Operations & Project Management
● Drive key cross-departmental projects, ensuring accountability, timelines, and alignment with the mission.
● Establish systems to improve internal communication and decision-making.
● Manage special initiatives and time-sensitive executive priorities with discretion and professionalism
Board & Stakeholder Engagement
● Serve as staff liaison to the Board of Directors; organize board meetings, support governance, and ensure materials and communications are timely and strategic.
● Represent the CEO in internal meetings and external engagements as appropriate.
● Prepare briefings, presentations, and reports for high-level audiences.
Executive Office & Staff Management
● Lead Executive Office operations, including staff coordination, executive scheduling, and correspondence.
● Mentor and manage junior staff in the executive office (as applicable).
● Support leadership team dynamics and organizational culture initiatives.
Preferred Qualifications:
● 7+ years in a leadership role (examples: operations, strategic planning, project planning, etc.)
● Exceptional organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
● Proven ability to manage complex projects across departments and stakeholders.
● Deep commitment to reproductive rights, health equity, and social justice.
● Experience working in or with advocacy, health care, or mission-driven organizations strongly preferred.
● Political acumen and the ability to navigate confidential, time-sensitive, and high-stakes situations effectively.

Languages Spoken
● English required, some Spanish speaking skills preferred.
