About the Position:

Job Title: Email Marketing & Automation Specialist
Location: Candidate must be located in Canada or the USA. Our office is located in Toronto, ON, Canada, but the role is remote/hybrid/flexible.
Reports To: Growth Marketing Manager 

Position Overview:
As an Email Marketing & Automation Specialist at Practice Better, you will design, implement, and optimize email marketing campaigns and automations to drive lead generation, nurture prospects, and support customer retention. You will play a pivotal role in leveraging marketing automation tools to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and enhance the overall effectiveness of our marketing efforts.

We're counting on you to:

    • Develop and execute email marketing campaigns to support lead generation and customer engagement.
    • Collaborate with the marketing team to create targeted and personalized content for automated campaigns, ensuring alignment with overall marketing strategies and objectives.
    • Implement lead scoring and nurturing workflows to qualify leads and guide them through the sales funnel.
    • Monitor and analyze campaign performance metrics, including open rates, click-through rates, conversion rates, and ROI, to optimize campaign effectiveness and drive continuous improvement.
    • Manage and maintain the marketing automation platform, including database segmentation, contact list management, and integration with other systems.
    • Conduct A/B testing and experimentation to optimize campaign elements such as subject lines, messaging, and calls-to-action.
    • Provide regular reporting and insights to stakeholders on campaign performance and key metrics, highlighting successes, trends, and areas for improvement.
    • Create landing pages that adhere to our brand guide and support the marketing team with campaigns. 
    • Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in marketing automation, and proactively recommend strategies and tactics to enhance our marketing efforts.

Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
    • Proven experience (3+ years) in email marketing, marketing automation, and campaign management, preferably in a B2B or technology-focused environment.
    • Proficiency in email marketing platforms and marketing automation tools, including HubSpot.
    • Strong understanding of email marketing best practices, CAN-SPAM Act regulations, GDPR compliance, and industry standards.
    • Excellent copywriting and content creation skills, with the ability to craft compelling, persuasive email messages and subject lines that drive engagement and action.
    • Analytical mindset and proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Google Analytics, HubSpot, PowerBI, Excel) to track and measure email campaign performance and ROI.
    • Creative problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically, identify opportunities for optimization, and implement solutions to drive results.
    • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and quality.
    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to achieve common goals.
    • Continuous learning mindset, staying updated on industry trends, best practices, and technological advancements in email marketing and marketing automation.

You will:

    • Own: email marketing strategy, campaign management, marketing automation, analysis. 
    • Teach: email marketing and automation best practices and tool expertise. 
    • Learn: advanced email marketing techniques, marketing automation tools, and data analysis. 
    • Improve: campaign performance, automation efficiency, and compliance.

Within:

    • 1 month: You will familiarize yourself with the marketing team, the company, and processes. You will complete an audit to better understand the current state of email marketing and automation at Practice Better. 
    • 3 months: You will execute campaigns, optimize performance, expand automation, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. 
    • 6 months: You will develop advanced strategies, leverage data-driven insights, integrate cross-channel efforts, and guide the marketing team as it relates to email marketing and automation.
