Job Title: Events Marketing Manager 
Location: Candidate must be located in Canada or the USA. Our office is located in Toronto, ON, Canada, but the role is remote/hybrid/flexible.
Reports to:  VP of Growth Marketing

About the Position: 
As an Events Marketing Manager, you will be the driving force behind our presence at industry events, conferences, and trade shows, along with the driver of our own events, both online and offline. Your primary focus will be on creating and executing strategic event marketing plans that align with our business objectives, generate leads, and strengthen relationships with key stakeholders. We believe the best event strategy is driven by having something valuable and new to share and standing out by doing something different.

We’re counting on you to:

    • Event Strategy & Planning: Develop and execute a comprehensive events strategy aligned with marketing and business goals. Identify and evaluate opportunities for participation in industry conferences, trade shows, and owned events we host online and offline in key cities.
    • End-to-End Execution: Coordinate all aspects of event logistics, from pre-event planning to post-event analysis. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of event initiatives.
    • Brand & Speaker Representation: Ensure a consistent and compelling brand presence at all events. Work closely with the design team to create visually appealing and effective event collateral. Identify industry events where we can share our thought leadership.
    • Lead Generation & ROI: Implement strategies to drive lead generation and customer acquisition through events. Create landing pages in Hubspot to drive leads. Track and analyze key metrics to measure the success and ROI of each event.
    • Stakeholder Engagement: Cultivate and manage relationships with event organizers, partners, and sponsors. Collaborate with sales teams to maximize networking opportunities and lead generation. Creatively partner with Ambassadors in key cities to host events that help build the Practice Better brand and help us stand out.
    • Content Development: Work with subject matter experts to create compelling presentation content and materials. Leverage events as platforms to showcase thought leadership and industry expertise.

Requirements:

    • Proven experience in B2B event marketing, preferably within the SaaS industry.
    • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Creative mindset with an eye for detail in event branding and messaging.
    • A data-driven approach, comfortable with analytics tools and reporting.
