About the Position: 

Job Title: Social Media Manager 
Location: Candidate must be located in Canada or the USA. Our office is located in Toronto, ON, Canada, but the role is remote/hybrid/flexible.
Reports to:  Head of Content 

Position Overview:
As a Social Media Manager at Practice Better, you will be responsible for developing and implementing fresh and engaging social media strategies to increase brand awareness, engage with our audience, and drive traffic and conversions. You’ll create compelling content, manage social media accounts, analyze performance metrics, and stay up-to-date with industry trends to optimize our social media presence. You’ll be an integral member of a fun and inclusive marketing team where you’ll be encouraged to flex your creative muscles and contribute your strategic acumen equally.

We're counting on you to:

    • Develop and execute world-class social media strategies that are built to achieve the business objectives of both Practice Better and That Clean Life.
    • Create fresh and engaging content for social media platforms, including text, image, and video content.
    • Manage and monitor the Practice Better and That Clean Life social media accounts, including posting, responding to comments, and engaging with followers.
    • Analyze social media performance metrics and adjust strategies accordingly to maximize results.
    • Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in social media marketing.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of social media efforts with overall marketing goals.
    • Stay up-to-date with platform updates and changes in social media algorithms.
    • Implement social media advertising campaigns and analyze their effectiveness.
    • Monitor and report on competitor activity in social media.

Requirements:

    • Proven experience in managing social media accounts for other B2B SaaS companies for at least 3 - 5 years. .
    • Deep understanding of the role of social media marketing, the current and evolving state of each major platform, and their respective strategies, audiences, and goals.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Your content is sparkling, effective, and error-free.
    • Proficiency in social media management tools and analytics platforms. You know what lies behind the metrics and can tell strategic stories with data.
    • Creative thinking and problem-solving skills. You love coming up with fresh, innovative ideas for your content, then executing on them and seeing them through.
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, supportive, and remote-first environment. You love “working in public” and sharing the why and the how behind what you do.
    • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. You love to roll up your sleeves and put your best possible work into the world.

You’re deft at crafting clear and compelling written content and communicating ideas, stories, and strategies that engage audiences and keep our internal teams aligned.
    • Project Manager: Managing multiple social media accounts for two beloved brands, creating top-quality content, monitoring audience engagement, analyzing data, and recommending next steps all require excellent time management skills. You should be great at managing your workload, prioritizing tasks, meeting deadlines, and efficiently allocating your time and resources in ways that drive great results and are healthy and sustainable for you and for us.

You will:

    • Own: Social media content creation, scheduling, account management, strategy, implementation, performance analysis, and reporting.
    • Teach: Social media best practices, content creation techniques, analytics interpretation, and crisis management in social media.
    • Learn: Industry trends, new social media features and tools, audience preferences, advanced social media advertising techniques.
    • Improve: Content quality and engagement rates,  response time to audience interactions, social media ROI, and collaboration with other departments. 

Within:

    • 1 month you will: 
    • Familiarize yourself with Practice Better and That Clean Life’s branding and voice.
    • Audit and analyze our existing social media presence and performance.
    • Begin implementing incremental changes based on first impressions.
    • Engage with our existing audience and start building relationships.

    • 3 months you will:
    • Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy.
    • Create a content calendar aligned with marketing objectives.
    • Analyze performance metrics and adjust strategies accordingly.
    • Initiate social media advertising campaigns to increase reach and engagement.

    • 6 months you will:
    • Optimize social media campaigns based on what you’ve learned.
    • Expand our social media presence to new platforms and programs if needed.
    • Establish partnerships and collaborations with influencers or other brands.
    • Present useful reports on our brands’ social media performance and results.
    • Continuously iterate and improve on our social media strategies based on your ongoing analysis, reflection, and expertise.
