The Opportunity
The Associate Director, Program and Alliance Management will enable delivery on the goals of our biopharma partnered programs As part of this role, this individual will work closely with key internal and external stakeholders, including Business Development, Translational Medicine, R&D, and Operations, to ensure the development of program plans and drive execution of key programs for our liquid biopsy-based comprehensive epigenomic profiling platform.

What You'll Do
- Manage and serve as primary point of contact for designated biopharma and industry collaborations
- Manage alliance lifecycle, ensuring adherence to contractual obligations with partners and compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Develop and maintain program plans in collaboration with internal stakeholders to ensure delivery on contractual obligations.
- Lead day-to-day activities for alliances, driving successful program, project, and alliance execution through effective internal and external communication and alignment on project goals and timelines.
- Facilitate partnership meetings, establish deliverable and timeline goals and expectations, regularly track and communicate progress and deviations, and prepare key documentation and reports.
- Cultivate close-knit relationships and partnerships with internal stakeholders and collaborators to advance alliance and project goals and deliverables.
- Drive goals of alliances while maintaining a broad perspective on the impact of short term decisions on long term success.
- Anticipate and identify potential gaps and conflicts both in contractual agreements and day-to-day execution, constructing a path forward while maintaining a collaborative working relationship with external partners.
- Consult and engage with internal team members and Precede Biosciences business partners (e.g., corporate and business development, R&D, operations, legal, etc.) to ensure ongoing alignment towards goal achievement. Prepare for and facilitate
- proactive partnership management, and coordinate key project activities.
- Update and inform senior leadership through timely alliance reviews, resource evaluation, and gap analyses.
- Educate and share best practices to foster Precede Biosciences-wide capability in alliance management.
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in a core life science discipline such as biology, genetics, or related field; master’s degree or Ph.D. preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in alliance management, business development, or with managing strategic partnerships within the diagnostics or biopharma ecosystem; experience with oncology clinical genomics, epigenomics, and/or liquid biopsy applications strongly preferred.
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex alliances, partnerships and/or projects, from inception through execution.
- Strong negotiation skills and experience in contract management.
- Operational understanding of external innovation, drug discovery, translational and development processes in a diagnostic context.
- Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills; ability to communicate across all levels of the organization internally and externally expected.
- Demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate effectively across diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and cooperatively in a creative, entrepreneurial and agile team environment.
- Proven experience in taking initiative to problem solve and drive key outcomes required.
