We are seeking an enthusiastic and hands-on Financial Controller & Strategist to join our team in Budapest. As a key member of our finance department, you will work with a talented and motivated team to drive the financial success of our business. You will be responsible for executing and overseeing financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting to existing and prospective investors.

Your responsibilities will include:
- Support the Finance lead in planning and financial forecasting.
- Analyzing, and controlling the financial operations.
- Developing and reviewing financial plans, preparing, and publishing financial statements.
- Complete the day-to-day tasks (invoicing, payroll preparation, filing of invoices) in the finance area.
- Support external auditing, investment and financing decisions.
- Creating finance reports for the management and the company board.
- Contributing to the development of business plans, revenue, cost, cash-flow, and investment plans.
- Recording cash movements and reconciling them with the balance sheet.
- Ensuring payment of taxes, checking the quality of tax returns and deadlines for submission.
- Collaborating with external lawyers, accountants and auditors.
- Preparation, submission, and accounting of documentation for public grants and tenders.
You'll succeed if:
- You have 3+ years experience as a Finance professional
- You have excellent communication skills, both in Hungarian and English
- You have a strong knowledge of MS Excel, familiarity with financial tools like Számlázz.hu, Novitax / WebBér
- You are friendly, open-minded with a can-do attitude
- You learn fast, are proactive and adaptable
- You have excellent organizational skills
