Warranty Admin/Claims Processor Responsibilities:
Prepare records and submit warranty and policy claims.
Reconcile claims accordingly.
Verify adequate payment and posting to the proper accounts.
Prepare accounting journal entries
Assist Warranty Manager and/or Service Manager in researching and resolving warranty policy issues.
Communicate with the Part's team to ensure parts are retained for claims processing.
Assist with shipping updates that eliminates unnecessary reject and/or chargeback.
Assist all other service personnel in knowledge and training for warranties, customer satisfaction and procedures for manufacturer.
Warranty Admin/Claims Processor Requirements:
Ability to operate all necessary office software/programs. IE: CDK, Outlook, Excel, SharePoint, etc.
Must be able to negotiate areas of dispute, follow-up with vendors on past due claims, and address warranty charge back issues.
Base accounting knowledge to reconcile warranty schedules.
Ability to communicate and listen to customers and co-workers.
Work with offsite teams to coordinate and accomplish corporate goals.
Ability to handle multiple tasks at one time.
Ability to read and prepare documents utilizing attention to detail.
Ability to calculate rates and percentages.
