We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Project Manager to oversee a critical migration project at the federal level. As the Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful migration of our federal client’s custom upstream profile to Drupal 10, working closely with both internal stakeholders and external subcontractor teams.

Responsibilities:

    • Ensure that the Subcontractor project team is working to meet all project deliverables as defined within the Statement of Work (SOW).
    • Interface with SLAC project manager, product owners, and team leads to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
    • Ensure synchronization between the Subcontractor and SLAC project teams to maintain alignment with project goals and timelines.
    • Conduct "discovery" meetings with SLAC team members to review and clarify requirements for each iteration/release prior to beginning development.es.
    • Conduct weekly status meetings detailing:
    • Tasks completed since the previous meeting.
    • Tasks currently being worked on.
    • Tasks to be completed for the next meeting.
    • Outstanding bugs/issues and status of each.
    • Obstacles and/or challenges to progress.
    • High and moderate-level risks and action plans.
    • Schedule, facilitate, and participate in other meetings between the SLAC project team and Subcontractor as needed.
    • Capture meeting minutes/notes with completed items, items in progress, action items, and decisions clearly described; and distribute these minutes/notes to relevant stakeholders.
    • Develop and maintain a project schedule capturing all activities and deliverables, with durations, dates, dependencies, and owners indicated. Make this schedule available to the SLAC team throughout the project.

Requirements:

    • Proven experience as a project manager, preferably in IT projects or web development projects.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interface with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
    • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines.
    • Experience in project scheduling, risk management, and issue resolution.
    • Proficiency in project management tools and software.
    • Knowledge of Agile or similar project management methodologies is a plus.
