Join Prestige Development Group as a Data Engineer and take a pivotal role in conceptualizing, implementing, and sustaining the systems and infrastructure essential for the efficient extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) of data from diverse sources within one of the largest, multinational pharmaceutical company. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the accuracy, availability, and accessibility of data, driving analytical and business intelligence initiatives..

Responsibilities:

    • Data Architecture and Modeling:
    • Devise and implement scalable and effective data models.
    • Establish and maintain the overarching data architecture to meet business requirements.
    • ETL Development:
    • Construct, test, and deploy ETL processes for data extraction, transformation, and loading into data warehouses and other storage systems.
    • Optimize and troubleshoot existing ETL processes for peak performance.
    • Data Integration:
    • Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and stakeholders to integrate data from various sources into a unified view.
    • Ensure data consistency, accuracy, and integrity across diverse systems.
    • Database Management:
    • Administer databases, ensuring security, availability, and performance.
    • Implement and uphold data quality standards and best practices.
    • Data Pipeline Automation:
    • Develop and automate data pipelines to streamline data flow across systems.
    • Monitor and optimize pipeline performance, swiftly resolving identified issues.
    • Collaboration and Communication:
    • Engage closely with cross-functional teams to comprehend data requirements and offer technical solutions.
    • Effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications:

    • 3-7 years of experience in data engineering
    • Expert Knowledge in Data Visualization Tools:
    • Demonstrate proficiency in crafting and implementing data models tailored for industry-standard data visualization tools like Tableau, PowerBI, or equivalent.
    • Proven experience optimizing data structures for impactful visualization, ensuring end-user usability.
    • Familiarity with best practices for designing interactive dashboards and reports conveying complex data insights.
    • General GIT Experience:
    • Work with existing scripts and contribute to refactoring efforts.
    • Agile DevOps Experience:
    • Decompose stories into tasks and subtasks.
    • Prioritize tasks within a story.
    • Scrum skills desired but not mandatory.

Nice to have:

    • Experience integrating and leveraging advanced features of Tableau or PowerBI for enhanced data storytelling and visualization.
    • Knowledge of data governance and compliance standards related to data visualization.
    • Familiarity with data cataloging and metadata management tools.
