This position is entirely remote and will report to the Transcription Operations Manager. 

These are the working hours for this role: 3 PM EST - 11:20 PM EST.

Responsibilities:

    • Coordinate client orders, communicate deadlines.
    • Understand details of client requirements regarding formatting and notation.
    • Track and report production metrics.
    • Ensure projects are delivered in a timely manner and have been reviewed for grammar, punctuation, spelling, and formatting requirements prior to submission.
    • Familiarity with start-up environments.
    • Familiarity and fluency with Google Suite of tools.
    • Performs other related duties as assigned.
    • Cross-train to cover additional products as required.
    • Create transcripts using E-Transcript/Adobe Acrobat.

    • Bonus points: Has a solid understanding of legal industry methodology and/or experience in the legal or transcription industry.

Required Qualifications:

    • College or university degree or court reporting/transcription certification
    • Two years of legal or transcription experience Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Excellent spelling, grammar, and punctuation skills
    • We prioritize candidates that are located in the Eastern Time Zone
    • Proofreading, editing experience
    • Experience with court reporting software such as RealLegal

$18 - $23 an hour
The pay range for this hourly position is up to $23/hr; however, the pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
