Position Summary:
Under general supervision, performs a variety of routine to moderately complex accounts receivable tasks and assists with special assignments and projects in support of the company’s accounts receivable function.

What You Will Do

    • High-volume cash collection correspondence
    • Maintaining and distributing cash collections reports
    • Contacting customers regarding outstanding payments
    • Attending all internal cash collections meetings
    • Coding and depositing all daily cash receipts.
    • Troubleshooting with customers to resolve any billing / payment issues.
    • Working directly with Project Managers/Executives for cash collection resolution
    • Utilize third party portals as required by customers.
    • Data entry. filing, scanning, and indexing into pVault
    • Other duties and projects as assigned.

What You Will Need To Be Successful

    • Minimum 5 years of experience in one or more of the following areas: cash collections, processing daily bank deposits, or accounts receivable accounting.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interface professionally and diplomatically across all levels: customers, subcontractors, peers, and executives.
    • Highly detail-oriented, customer-focused, and exceptionally organized; able to thrive under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
    • Proven ability to work quickly and accurately in a high-volume role.
    • Skilled at multitasking, prioritizing, and taking initiative to follow up and provide support with minimal oversight.
    • Self-motivated, reliable, and performance-driven with a strong work ethic.
    • Proficient in 10-key by touch.
    • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel (e.g., pivot tables, v-lookups).
    • Experience preparing and collecting lien releases from customers and vendors/subcontractors is a plus.
    • Familiarity with public works contracts, including preparation of intents and affidavits, is preferred.
    • Experience using Vista by Viewpoint accounting software is a plus.
    • Previous experience in the construction industry is strongly preferred.
$29 - $45 an hour
