Printify will use this investment to further expand its marketplace and to hire the best talents available around the world.

The Team

We are looking for Legal Counsel to join our growing Legal team. We take care of the company’s legal matters including compliance, contracts, and transaction support. Our goal is to adequately manage the company’s risks and make sure they do not stand in a way of achieving our goals. As Legal Counsel, you will be working together with the management of the Company, various other teams and third parties.

The Role

As a Legal Counsel, you will play a key role in supporting the company’s expansion and everyday compliance. Legal analysis, writing and negotiation skills are essential to succeed in this position. Your initiative to come up with your own ideas and ambition to grow and achieve great things will be much appreciated. The role is based in Riga, Latvia (hybrid work).

Your Responsibilities:

    • Full commercial legal assistance to the Company on its road to a multi-billion dollar valuation;
    • Conducting legal research, participating in negotiations and drafting contracts with third parties;
    • Managing ongoing dispute resolution processes;
    • Providing counsel to staff in all departments on a variety of complex issues;
    • Actively participating in setting the strategy and goals for the legal team in alignment with the larger organizational goals;
    • Defining and implementing key legal processes related to legal drafting, negotiations, and commercial settlement agreements;
    • Anticipating and planning for all legal risks, developing strategies to mitigate those risks;
    • Advising the leadership team on legal matters critical to the growth of the business;
    • Working closely with external advisors/ law firms in different jurisdictions, coordinating their work in relation to the full range of projects;
    • Managing Company's adherence to principal corporate documents and agreements, as well as maintaining the capitalization table.

Minimum Qualifications:

    • Master's degree in law and professional qualification as a lawyer and/or admission to bar (where applicable);
    • Fluency in English language;
    • Prior work experience in a full service commercial law firm and/or relevant work experience in an in-house setting;
    • Strong analytical and problem solving skills;
    • Initiative - we seek a lawyer that not only does what they are told, but tells us what needs to be done.

We will value if you have the following:

    • Fluency in Latvian language;
    • A track record and/or reputation of being among the top of your peers (e.g., participation in moot court competitions; scholarships; distinguishable professional achievements);
    • Excellent understanding of commercial and contract law;
    • Previous exposure to common law legal systems;
    • Proficiency in intellectual property law;
    • Knowledge and/or experience in legal compliance (data protection; AML; employment; securities);
    • Previous work experience with management of stock options;
    • Proficiency in legal theory and judicial methodology;
    • High ambitions - sky is (not) the limit;
    • Problem solving oriented attitude;Strong communication and negotiation skills.

€3,000 - €4,500 a month

The renumeration for this role ranges from €3000 to €4500 gross per month, based on your qualifications, experience, and skills.
