The Opportunity That Awaits You:         

We are looking for an enthusiastic, versatile, and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our Finance team and support our Operations team, reporting to the FP&A Operations Director. This is a key position to support and manage OpEx in a fast-growing medical device company.
 
Your responsibilities include assisting with forecasting, reporting, and budgeting processes for operating expense. You’ll prepare monthly reports, perform variance analysis, and help manage the forecasting tool while working in a fluid, fast growing environment.

What Your Day-To-Day Will Involve:

    • Planning & Forecasting: support development of planning, budgeting, and forecasting process and tracking of expenses and OCOGS for our Operations group
    • Accounting: knowledge of GL accounting, CAPEX, accruals and cost accounting
    • Perform variance analysis: bridging forecast/actuals compared to plan
    • Monthly financial close and reporting: work cross-functionally on monthly accruals, headcount reporting, and OPEX spend. Preparation of monthly financial reports for Operations group.
    • Support Financial Planning Tool: Manage the accuracy of the actual data in the QAD and loading the Forecast and Budget into Adaptive Planning. Provide monthly forecasting process, validating financial assumptions and data accuracy in the Adaptive Planning
    • Prepare financial models: Provide ad hoc financial modeling and analysis as needed.
    • Communicate and collaborate effectively: Must be comfortable supporting budget owners, with ability to articulate detailed and accurate information into executive level summaries

The Qualifications We Need You to Possess

    • 2+ years of relevant or progressive experience in financial planning, reporting and analysis and/or cost accounting
    • Familiar with Workday Adaptive Planning or similar planning tool
    • Familiar with Cost Accounting and understanding of standard cost methodology.
    • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or another quantitative discipline

The Qualifications We’d Like You to Possess

    • Outstanding interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
    • Experience working both independently and in a team-oriented environment
    • Forward thinker and self-starter who can follow directions but will also go the extra mile
    • Strong technical skills and have aptitude of learning new software and systems
    • Advanced skills in Excel (financial modeling), ERP system (QAD preferred) and reporting/planning tools (e.g. Tableau, Hyperion, Adaptive). 
    • Medical Device/Biotech or other regulated industry background is a plus but not required. 
$93,000 - $110,000 a year
This pay range also includes eligibility for a 10% annual bonus and RSUs at offer.

PAY RANGE TRANSPARENCY
Procept is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The pay range(s) for this role is listed below and represents base salary range for non-commissionable roles or on-target earnings for commissionable roles. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, depth of experience, relevant certifications and training, and specific work location. Based on the factors above, Procept utilizes the full width of the range. The total compensation package for this position may also include eligibility for annual performance bonus, equity, and the benefits listed above.
 
WORK ENVIRONMENT
We’ll provide you training for, and ask you to maintain trained status for, and comply with, all relevant aspects of the PROCEPT BioRobotics Quality Management System to ensure product and support regulatory compliance. We would also ask you to understand and adhere to the PROCEPT BioRobotics Quality & EHS policies.
