Are you ready to embark on an exciting journey that will revolutionize the way men suffering from BPH are treated? Join us as a Senior Software Test Engineer to ensure software quality within a complex medical device product through the development and execution of software test plan by way of verification procedure based upon software and system specifications.
What Your Day-To-Day Will Involve:
- Support new product development and design changes to existing products in ensuring compliance with company’s Quality system.
- Serve as a technical resource for software requirements, risk, verification and validation, process validation, usability, statistical analysis, Design Transfer etc.
- Be a core team member for new product development and design changes.
- Support Program Management with compliance to Design controls and Risk Management procedures and delivery of robust Design History Files
- Develop and implement product quality plans, risk management plans to ensure high degree of assurance that specific design and process will consistently and continually produce a product that meets specifications and critical to quality attributes.
- Lead software automation development activities.
- Perform software functional testing and integration testing.
- Develop automation frameworks and automation test scripts for software testing.
- Create and review software test protocols and test reports.
- Create, maintain, and validate test tools that facilitate test automation.
- Review product design requirements and software requirements to ensure that requirements stated are correct, unambiguous, and verifiable.
- Participate and provide feedback on risk-based code and design reviews.
- Assist in product design documentation reviews for safety, consistency, traceability and compliance to regulations (such as FDA QSR design control requirements).
- Log software issues and track progress of bug fixes.
- Maintain trained status for, and comply with, all relevant aspects of the Procept BioRobotics Quality Management System to ensure product and support regulatory compliance.
- Understand and adhere to Procept BioRobotics Quality Policy and EHS Policy
The Qualifications We Need You to Possess
- Bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience working in software testing.
- Background in software automation testing.
- Experience developing test frameworks and automated test scripts.
- Proficient in Python and C#.
- Experience with GUI automation tools (Squish, Selenium, WinApp Driver or equivalent)
- Experience with source control and development tools (GitHub or equivalent)
- Experience with continuous build and integration environments (Jenkins or equivalent)
- Experience working with Test case management tools like JAMA.
- Experience working with management and defect tracking tools like Jira.
- KnowledgeofC, C++, GUIDesign,OS:Windows strongly preferred
- Experience working on projects that follow Agile methodology.
- Must have working knowledge of CFR 820, ISO 13485, ISO 14971, IEC 62304, IEC 62366
The Qualifications We Would Like You to Possess
- Experience with medical device testing or development.
- Experience with ISO 13485 and IEC 62304, and familiarity with FDA GMP.
$162,000 - $191,000 a year
Compensation also includes a 15% annual bonus and RSUs at offer!

PAY RANGE TRANSPARENCY
Procept is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The pay range(s) for this role represents a base salary range for non-commissionable roles or on-target earnings for commissionable roles. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, depth of experience, relevant certifications and training, and specific work location. Based on the factors above, Procept utilizes the full width of the range. The total compensation package for this position may also include eligibility for annual performance bonus, equity, and the benefits listed above.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
We’ll provide you training for, and ask you to maintain trained status for, and comply with, all relevant aspects of the PROCEPT BioRobotics Quality Management System to ensure product and support regulatory compliance. We would also ask you to understand and adhere to the PROCEPT BioRobotics Quality & EHS policies.
