With Prodigy, kids practice standards-aligned skills in Math and English as they play our fun, adaptive learning games. All with teacher and parent tools to support their learning in class and at home.
As a Product Owner, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our Math game products. Your strategic vision and execution will directly influence the success of our features and systems, driving significant improvements in player engagement, retention, and revenue.
Your Impact
- Develop a deep understanding of our players, the problems they face and how Prodigy can resolve those pain points
- Identify and implement incrementally better solutions to enhance game systems and economies, ensuring a seamless and engaging player experience
- Develop and manage feature strategies that align with business goals, optimizing the order and integration of new features to maximize their impact
- Lead cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality game features, raising the performance bar through effective management and motivation
- Leverage data to gain insights, validate hypotheses, and accurately forecast the impact of new features on player behavior and revenue
- Improve operational practices through scalable agile methodologies, ensuring efficient pre-production and production processes
- Establish and disseminate best practices across teams, mentoring new Product Owners to foster a culture of excellence
About You
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in product management within the gaming industry
- Deep understanding of free-to-play game systems, mechanics, and economies - Role-Play Game & SIMS experience is a must
- Proven track record of successfully managing and optimizing game features
- Strong ability to analyze quantitative and qualitative data to drive insights and validate hypotheses in a B2C environment
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience leading cross-functional teams and improving team dynamics
- Experience in driving operational improvements and ensuring efficient workflows
- A track record of identifying opportunities and issues within game systems and creating incrementally better solutions
- Strong grasp of behavioral economics, monetization strategies, UX patterns, and UX research to maximize the KPI impact of initiatives
- Experience in financial modeling and forecasting to inform strategic decisions and optimize business outcomes
