Progressive Design, Inc. is currently seeking an entrepreneurial spirited Senior Project Manager for a client of PDI. This is a full time position that is located in Bowling Green, KY.

·Position will lead multiple large and small-scale capital projects for chemical company in Bowling Green, Ky.
· Accountable for the scoping, project justification, development, design, construction, installation, start-up and commissioning of all projects under direct or dotted line management.
·Will manage process or equipment programs for project team as directed by Director, Corporate Engineering.
·Develop, document and manage project procedural standards for local organization.
Work on large and small-scale projects that have a direct impact on the company.
Drive projects based on defined priorities; ensure scope of deliverables, timelines and budget are met; identify risks and issues and mitigate and / or escalate as needed.
Exhibit a proven track record of project management, bringing the ability to quickly put structure in place to manage the work.
Plan, design, manage and execute project plans to ensure delivery. This activity includes management through feasibility, design, planning and implementation.
Leverage problem solving skills to ensure project plans deliver on intent and maintain key project documentation.
Maintain an awareness of the quality of the work being performed and must be able to implement whatever corrective action is needed to meet acceptable quality limits.
Clearly determine and communicate detailed status information for all ongoing installation projects.
Interpret and review engineering drawings, test plans, and technical specifications and provide clear text descriptions of the errors found and the clear identification of any standards violations.
Responsible for integrating new project into the production operation insuring successful start-up and operation to targeted goals
Identify ways to improve and streamline business process
Forge relationships with key stakeholders to ensure delivery of commitments
Demonstrate organizational agility to adapt to changing demands
Develop effective programs for training personnel and developing and documenting effective and efficient work practices -
including program management and quality assurance practices.
Partner with project customers to provide strategic and tactical thought partnership to effectively drive project delivery
Demonstrate outstanding communication and partnership skills which are essential for interacting and communicating with key stakeholders across all levels to manage, inform, and influence outcomes
Ensure that tasks are provided with adequate resources (personnel, time, tools, test equipment, training, etc.) to meet cost and schedule commitments.
Experience: 10+ years professional experience
Mechanical, Electrical or Chemical Engineering degree
Experience managing multiple projects with values > $10 million.
Demonstrated experience managing concurrent projects in multiple international locations.
Demonstrated use of project tracking tools to manage and communicate performance to key project deliverable and metrics.
