Senior Technical Recruiter

Welcome to Project Ronin where you will have first hand experience in building an organization that is on the brink of changing the cancer care ecosystem. You are a mission driven individual that enjoys solving problems through hiring and workforce planning. You find yourself asking the most curious questions to hiring managers to truly understand the needs of the business and why candidates need to have certain skills. You are often brainstorming where these “unicorn” candidates might be hiding or how we can hire someone that has the potential to blossom beyond what you see on paper. You pride yourself on your ability to help managers come up with creative ways they can attract candidates through thoughtful and personal outreach. And lastly, you treat others how you would want to be treated by listening intently first, asking after and respecting their opinion but also seeking clarification. You know that not every call will result in you helping someone get a role but it may lead to a pretty awesome connection!

We are a mission-driven startup that is creating change for people impacted by cancer. We’re developing a data-driven decision platform that supports patients and providers in making the best care choices. We have both the privilege and responsibility to do work we love, with our patients at the heart of every decision we make. We are passionate about achieving our mission and each others’ success.
We are looking for a Sr. Technical Recruiter to join our People team. This is a high ownership, highly visible role where you will partner with managers and VP level stakeholders to fill priority roles at Project Ronin. We are looking to double in size within the next 12 months and want to grow our team with a recruiting expert who can help us find the right individuals that want to help build a company that is aiming to impact the lives of millions of Americans.

Here’s what you will do day to day:

    • Recruiting and hiring for technical roles at all levels: your main focus will be technical roles but you’ll flex into other roles as needed.
    • Be a partner to the business, determining role parameters, leveling and interview best practices by role.
    • Candidate management throughout the entire process focusing on empathy and attention to detail: Sourcing, screening, scheduling, negotiation, offer development.
    • Partner with hiring managers and team members to create job descriptions and understand the needs of the business to find the best possible future team members.
    • Continue to design new ways and methods of engaging the best candidates possible and partner with the Head of Workforce and Culture to create the most effective processes possible.
    • Assist with onboarding of new hires. This could be a systems training, facilitating lunches or helping new hires through their first few days.

Does some or most of the below describe you? Let’s chat!

    • You have 8+ years of full cycle recruiting where you had to source, sell and close candidates who had multiple offers.
    • You like to get creative with your sourcing techniques and you personalize all your outreach.
    • Your network is living and breathing where you keep long term relationships simply because you built strong relationships with candidates you met even if you didn’t hire them!
    • You have experience managing the candidate experience from end-to-end (sourcing to onboarding) and in fact you prefer having that close relationship with them
    • Empathy is not a buzzword for you. You lead with a “candidate first” mentality and know that their experience is crucial as their first interaction with you as an ambassador for the business.
    • You have high emotional intelligence. We need to understand the needs of the candidate as well as the business and find the right fit.
    • You don’t hard sell. You seek clarity and understanding in the candidate's goals, skills and interests and let them know if we can offer what they are looking for.
    • You are a partner to the business. In this role you will be helping our managers and teams navigate the recruiting space, helping to make decisions on candidates, creating the best interview process, etc.

Have these skills as well? Even better.

    • Experience using Lever or a similar ATS
    • Experience hiring in a rapidly scaling startup environment
    • Experience recruiting across multiple industries and functions (Technical and Non Technical)
    • Experience with high volume recruiting and managing multiple hiring managers at a time
    • You have recruiter hacks/tools that improve your productivity and efficiency!
