Full-Time
As a staff software engineer at Ronin, you will be working closely with people across engineering, product, and design to build systems and experiences to solve challenges in cancer care. You have expert knowledge of modern iOS development and have worked with languages such as Swift, architectures like MVVM and VIPER, and can spin up a view with Auto Layout. You are also no stranger to backend API development, or are excited to learn as we grow our services-oriented APIs. As someone who can code and architect the client application, contribute to backend service design and implementation, practice thoughtful code reviews, and provide mentorship to other engineers, you have the desire and experience to share your knowledge.

You follow engineering best practices when creating software and you enjoy working collaboratively with other smart but humble engineers in an environment where you feel safe to experiment and innovate. You want to work on a product that has a positive impact on cancer patients’ lives.

You will be doing hands-on coding in Swift and Kotlin Multiplatform, and be able to contribute effectively to the app architecture and features. You’ll be working with APIs (mostly GraphQL), helping to maintain mobile test infrastructure and coverage, and at times you’ll be tackling design and implementation of APIs and backend services. Working cross-functionally with Product, Clinical Intelligence, Data Science, and other teams, this role will give you the opportunity to share knowledge and learn new skills.

Here’s what you will do day to day:

    • Collaborate with engineering, product management and design teams to understand customer pain points, come up with solutions that will ultimately better the lives of Patients, Oncologists, and supporting care teams.
    • Develop seamless user experiences for the Patients, Oncologists, and supporting care teams using our product.
    • Define easy to understand and secure APIs to integrate client applications with backend servers.
    • Tackle a wide variety of technical problems throughout the stack and contribute daily to all parts of our product code base.
