As the Sr. Email Marketing Manager, you will lead the strategy, execution, and optimisation of global email marketing initiatives. Your core mission will be to implement scalable, data-driven campaigns that drive engagement, nurture leads, and support revenue growth across multiple regions, sectors and verticals. You will manage sophisticated marketing automation flows, maintain a global campaign calendar, oversee segmentation strategy, ensure consistent messaging across regions and advise on performance and present optimization strategies.
 
The successful candidate will be results-oriented with deep knowledge of email platforms such as Pardot (Marketing Cloud Account Engagement), Salesforce and HubSpot, strong analytical capabilities, and a creative mindset. 

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Lead the global email marketing strategy, ensuring alignment with overarching business goals, regional priorities, and audience segmentation.
    • Design, build, and manage advanced email automation workflows using Pardot (or similar platforms), including lead nurturing sequences, drip campaigns, and lead scoring models.
    • Develop and maintain a centralized email communications calendar to support product launches, campaigns, events, newsletters, and promotional initiatives.
    • Ensure email templates are optimized for performance and deliverability by editing and troubleshooting HTML code, including responsive design elements, inline styling, and dynamic content integration.
    • Define campaign KPIs and reporting frameworks; conduct A/B testing and performance analysis to drive continuous optimization and improve engagement metrics.
    • Maintain and grow a healthy, compliant mailable contact database; implement segmentation strategies to improve deliverability, personalization, and conversion rates.
    • Collaborate with regional marketing managers, program owners, and cross-functional stakeholders to align messaging and ensure integrated campaign execution.
    • Ensure all email marketing activities comply with global data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR, CAN-SPAM, CASL) and maintain documentation for audit readiness.
    • Collaborate with the Marketing Operations team to ensure email platforms are properly configured for campaign execution, reporting, and compliance; conduct regular audits of templates, automation flows, and contact lists to uphold accuracy, performance, and best practices.
    • Stay current with email marketing trends, platform innovations, and best practices to continuously enhance campaign effectiveness and user experience.
    • Partner with sales and marketing operations to ensure seamless lead handoff, tracking, and attribution across the funnel.
    • Support localization efforts by adapting global email campaigns for regional audiences, ensuring cultural relevance and language accuracy.
    • Participate in strategic planning sessions and contribute to broader marketing initiatives where email plays a key role.
    • Perform other duties as assigned by the manager, including special projects and cross-functional collaboration.

Job Skills and Qualifications:

    • 5+ years of proven experience in a dedicated email marketing or marketing automation role, ideally in a B2B environment.
    • Proven success managing campaigns in Pardot and Salesforce (or similar platforms).
    • Experience building and optimizing automated customer journeys and lifecycle programs.
    • Ability to tweak HTML for formatting issues, broken links, or layout problems.
    • Familiarity with table-based layouts, inline styles, and responsive design techniques for email clients.
    • Ability to identify rendering issues across email clients and devices.
    • Strong command of data analysis, A/B testing, reporting, and deriving actionable insights.
    • Skilled in email deliverability with best practices, segmentation strategies, and contact governance.
    • Highly organized with excellent project management skills and attention to detail.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
    • BA/BS in Marketing, Communications, or related discipline.
    • Familiarity with global email compliance regulations (e.g., GDPR).
    • Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment.

    • Ability to travel as appropriate approximately 5-10% of time.
Base Range: £42,400 - £52,900 + Bonus Eligible
