Business Development Representative

Propane Studio is looking to add a valuable member to our family as a business development representative. You will play a crucial part in helping Propane Studio connect with transformative companies throughout North America, while owning the introductory phases of our sales pipeline. As BDR, you will lead the charge in strategically targeting, connecting, and passing forward opportunities to our Business Development team. Propane will provide you with the tools and training to succeed in this role, and will provide the foundation to be successful in strategic work in the digital industry. In short, become a BD Ninja; everyone wants to be a Ninja.    

What you would do

    • Wake up and be awesome
    • Learn and demonstrate the fundamental understanding of our services – and clearly articulate capabilities and advantages to prospective customers/clients
    • Contribute to functions associated with fulfilling the sales cycle (e.g., forecasting, reporting, customer database maintenance and data entry, correspondence, and communications)
    • Generate new business opportunities to fuel our growth
    • Conduct introductory conversations with prospective clients
    • Have fun and be a part of something new every day

Minimum Qualifications

    • Likes people
    • Likes animals
    • Likes people with animals
    • Bachelor’s degree or relevant
    • 1+ years business experience in a sales environment
    • Can wear multiple hats (baseball, fedora, cowboy, bandana. Your choice.)
    • Ability to connect with prospects, customers, partners, and the Propane team
    • Excellent communication skills in writing, speaking, listening, and phone etiquette
    • Able to work independently in an entrepreneurial, fast-pace environment; must love to learn/evolve
    • Solid understanding of social media tools. Experience of monitoring tools is a plus
    • CRM experience is not required, however Salesforce expertise will be an advantage
