Role Description:

- Spearhead the development and productization of intuitive, beautifully crafted internal and customer-facing dashboards and productivity tools that measure performance in terms of timeliness, accuracy, and financial reporting.
- Drive data-driven product strategies, leveraging principles from Edward Tufte, to enhance operational and financial performance.
- Ensure product designs meet user needs through close collaboration with designers, user researchers, engineers, and the operations team.
- Display financial acumen to comprehend and optimize ROI on product developments.

Key Responsibilities

    • Design Collaboration:
    • Work extensively with UX/UI designers to ensure products are intuitive, user-friendly, and aesthetically pleasing.
    • Product Roadmap Ownership:
    • Develop and own the product roadmap, driving product awareness and adoption through internal and external marketing strategies.
    • Data-Driven Insights:
    • Harness quantitative and qualitative data to uncover insights that inform human-centered products focusing on end-user benefits.
    • Operational Efficiency:
    • Develop products that improve operational efficiency, workload management, and performance management.
    • Cross-Functional Leadership:
    • Lead cross-functional teams to ensure products align with user needs and business objectives, integrating accurate and real-time data.
    • Empathy and Engagement:
    • Foster strong empathy for end users, utilizing gamification and other strategies to motivate and engage users.

Required Skills and Experience

    • Conducting User Research:
    • Engaging in user research and collaborating with team researchers to gather and analyze customer feedback. Translate these insights into actionable product requirements, ensuring products are developed with a human-centered focus.
    • Design Experience:
    • Proven ability in or extensive collaboration with designers to create intuitive, user-friendly, and aesthetically appealing products.
    • User Experience Design:
    • Competence in UX design principles and tools (e.g., Sketch, Figma) for creating user flows, wireframes, and prototypes.
    • UI Design Principles:
    • Knowledge of UI design standards and best practices to ensure functional and visually appealing products.
    • Prototyping:
    • Skill in developing interactive prototypes to test and validate product ideas with users.
    • Product Management:
    • At least 6 years of experience, with a focus on data-informed products that enhance operational efficiency and provide deep data insights.
    • Operational Product Experience:
    • Background in developing products that improve operational processes, drawing inspiration from companies like Uber or DoorDash.
    • New Product Development:
    • Ability to lead the development of new products from ideation through launch, ensuring they meet market needs and company objectives.
    • Analytical Skills:
    • A robust understanding of data analytics, visualization, and Edward Tufte’s principles to derive insights and inform product strategy.
    • Technical Skills:
    • Familiarity with data engineering principles and data flow mechanisms to ensure dashboard accuracy.
    • Financial Acumen:
    • Proficiency in financial analysis and understanding of key financial metrics to guide product decisions and analyze ROI.
