Role Overview:

The Sales Operations Specialist is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and scaling of the sales team. This role manages contact assignments for SDR outbound efforts, defines qualification and lead routing rules for Account Executives, reports on pipeline health and performance metrics, tracks sales for variable compensation, and drives accountability across the sales organization.

Key Responsibilities

    • Core Functional Responsibilities:
    • . Manage and optimize the assignment of contacts for SDR outbound efforts.
      . Define and maintain rules of engagement for AE lead qualification and routing.
      . Build, maintain, and optimize reporting dashboards in HubSpot.
      . Monitor pipeline health and deliver actionable insights to leadership.
      . Track, calculate, and report variable compensation for SDRs and AEs.
      . Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, and Finance to ensure alignment.
      . Drive accountability within the sales team by enforcing processes and reporting outcomes.

    • Performance and Metrics Tracking:
    • . Define and report on key sales KPIs (e.g., conversion rates, pipeline velocity, win rates).
      . Analyze sales data and trends to recommend operational improvements.
      . Regularly present performance metrics to leadership.

    • Training and Development:
    • . Train SDRs and AEs on process updates, rules of engagement, and reporting tools.
      . Support knowledge sharing of HubSpot best practices.

Required Hard Skills

    • HubSpot CRM expertise (pipeline reporting, workflows, automation).
    • Sales analytics and reporting skills.
    • Compensation tracking and data accuracy management.
    • Sales process optimization and documentation.
    • Strong Excel/Google Sheets or BI tool proficiency.
