The Shared Services Specialist performs repetitive, rules-based tasks within financial & accounting workflows with precision and consistency. This entry-level role is responsible for ensuring data accuracy, timely execution, and strict adherence to established procedures. As a core member of the new Shared Services department, the specialist supports Proper AI’s ability to scale by standardizing high-volume processes and enabling future automation.
Main Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver engaging, scalable training materials (e-learning, live sessions, guides).
- Assign and track training via LMS, ensuring all employees complete assigned modules.
- Maintain LMS content and troubleshoot technical issues in collaboration with IT.
- Analyze training data to report on completion rates, knowledge retention, and impact.
- Coordinate training logistics (virtual/in-person), scheduling, and communications.
- Gather and integrate feedback from participants into ongoing content improvements.
- Partner with managers to align training initiatives with business needs.
Required Hard skills
- 1–2 years of experience in finance operations, shared services, or high-volume data entry (preferred).
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field
- Accuracy in high-volume, rules-based workflows (AP, Bank Reconciliation, data entry).
- Ability to follow structured SOPs and workflow playbooks.
- Proficiency with Excel/Google Sheets and workflow tracking tools.
- Experience using or supporting workflow documentation.
- (Preferred) Familiarity with accounts payable or bank reconciliation processes.
