The Role:
As a Senior Product Manager for Personal Loans at Prosper, you will drive growth and customer acquisition by executing a comprehensive product strategy and managing product roadmaps. You will design innovative strategies to ensure a balanced marketplace between borrower and investor demands. You will conduct market research and competitive analysis with the UX and Product Analytics teams, presenting ideas for product enhancements. Leveraging data analytics, you will monitor performance, identify improvements, and report key metrics.
Fostering a customer-first mindset, you will focus on building a best-in-class customer experience. Collaboration with cross-functional teams such as UX, Engineering, Product Analytics, Credit Risk, Marketing, Operations, and Capital Markets is essential for scalable product innovation. You will engage with key stakeholders, including executive leadership, to communicate product vision, strategy, and performance, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and industry standards.
Problem You Will Solve
- Results-Driven Execution: Drive implementation processes to achieve key outcomes, focusing on tangible results and meaningful business impact.
- Strategic Contribution: Contribute to the development and refinement of the personal loan product vision and strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives and market needs.
- Servicing Execution: Implement the transformation of the servicing experience, taking ownership of success metrics and ensuring a seamless rollout.
- Product Launches: Execute end-to-end product launches efficiently, collaborating with cross-functional teams for successful market entry and adoption.
- Collaborative Implementation: Work closely with cross-functional teams to effectively execute product strategies and achieve desired outcomes.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement process enhancements to improve efficiency and effectiveness in product implementation.
- Data-Driven Decisions: Utilize data and analytics to guide implementation decisions and continually optimize product performance.
- Stakeholder Alignment: Ensure alignment with stakeholders on outcome expectations and maintain consistent communication on progress.
- Business Case Development: Contribute to developing compelling business cases, outlining the value proposition, market opportunity, and ROI for proposed product initiatives.
About You
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related fields. MBA is a plus.
- Experience: 5–10 years of outcome-driven Product Management or relevant experience. Previous experience in a fintech industry and exposure to working in marketplace platform preferred. Track record of defining and launching outstanding consumer-facing products.
- Extreme Ownership: Demonstrated extreme ownership of business goals, with a commitment to hitting key performance metrics quarterly.
- Growth Strategy Experience: Prior experience ideating, crafting, managing, and delivering growth strategies, with a proven ability to identify opportunities and lead product experiments.
- Analytical Skills: Proficient in data analysis, using insights to drive decision-making and achieve desired outcomes.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, adept at articulating complex ideas to diverse stakeholders, including leadership and executive teams.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to inspire your squads and foster a culture of accountability and achievement.
- Strategic Thinking: Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills focused on achieving measurable outcomes.
- Innovative Thinking: Demonstrated ability to innovate and generate ideas to drive product advancement.
- Project Management Skills: Excellent project management skills, focused on delivery and action oriented.

$165,000 - $227,000 a year
Compensation details: The salary for this position is $165,000 - $227,000 annually, plus bonus and generous benefits. In determining your salary, we will consider your location, experience, and other job-related factors.
