The Americas’ Regional Director of Solution Engineering will spearhead our presales and partner engineering strategy and execution, reporting to the VP, Global Customer Solutions.  This leader will be responsible for accelerating the growth and optimization of our Presales organization. With a strong technical background, the Regional Director of Solution Engineering will drive outcomes that align with Protegrity’s mission, values, and strategic vision. 

As a Solution Engineering leader at Protegrity, you will lead a team partnering with prospects, partners, account executives, post-sales, delivery, and product teams to craft scalable, flexible, and resilient architectures that address customer business problems and accelerate the adoption of the Protegrity platform. In collaboration with sales, you will drive revenue growth across a broad set of prospects. As a trusted customer advocate, the Solution Engineering leader will help organizations understand best practices around our platform architecture and integration.

Responsibilities:

    • You will be responsible for the success of the Americas Solution Engineering function for Presales & Partners, ensuring the sales team, prospects, and our partners are supported throughout the technical engagement lifecycle.
    • You will possess a technical background that enables you to drive sales opportunities and interact at the executive levels within our customers.
    • Demonstrate the ability to think strategically and long-term about the needs of global businesses, and are deeply familiar with complex IT environments, both legacy and cloud-based data flows, and commercial ISV solutions that support these workloads.
    • Driving the Presales SE team to secure the technical win on net new opportunities, scoping first value implementations, and ensuring handoff/transition with Post-sales & Delivery teams.
    • Driving the Partner SE team to enable and support software partners, cloud service providers, and technical alliances.
    • Partnering with leadership to develop go-to-market strategies and ways to accelerate and increase ARR at net new customers.
    • Partnering with other groups (e.g., Professional Services, Support, Product Management, etc.) to help us deliver an outstanding customer experience and continued product development requirements

Qualifications:

    • 10+ years of global experience leading technical sales teams.
    • Experience leading a presales team in a complex/technical SaaS sales process.
    • Equal parts business and technical acumen with the ability to lead both business value and solution architecture discussions internally and externally.
    • A collaborative mindset that strongly partners with the Sales team to help grow ARR and close new logos.
    • Proven track record of managing high-performance teams that exceed expectations and revenue goals.
    • Excellent strategic planning and strategy development skills.
    • Strong operational and financial acumen.
    • A technical background in security, data, and/or cloud technologies.

Working Model

    • This role is available as fully home-based and generally would require you to attend on-site meetings only occasionally based on business needs. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
