As the Principal Technical Account Manager, you will act in a post-sales role and must demonstrate leadership, strategy, and collaboration. We are looking for exceptional talent, ready to make an impact. This position focuses on strategic customer partnership, championing customer centric solutions and outcomes. You will work closely with Customer Success, Support, Professional Services, Sales, and R&D teams to enable positive customer experiences and valuable results of our products.
You must be goal oriented, proactive, and focused on having a strong understanding of our customers’ business objectives, and the ability to identify and articulate how our solution supports achievement of customers’ strategic goals.
The individual contributor should also possess enthusiasm and entrepreneurial skills to be successful in a semi-unstructured environment within a matrixed growth organization.

Responsibilities:

    • Collaborate and partner with customer and Protegrity team members to assist and/or develop a solution plan for customer deployments, maintenance and execution of an Impact or Success Plan
    • Help customers develop a roadmap for comprehensive data security goals and objectives across the enterprise and assist them to accomplish it
    • Become the customer advocate and a trusted advisor for all their data protection needs by developing productive relationships with stakeholders and manage the needs, expectations, requests and communication
    • Maintain knowledge of industry trends and technology developments relevant to customer and programmatic space
    • Ensure positive customer experiences by proactively managing and growing customer relationships, including identifying key stakeholders.
    • Review client requests with technical support, or Product Management and take action[s] as necessary

Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent education / experience required.
    • 8+ years IT experience and a minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in a customer or technical account management role, with relationship skills, pro-active mindset, and technical proficiency with a track record of retaining and growing large enterprise customers
    • Energetic, motivated and self-driven to learn and master new technology
    • Excellent ability to lead conversations at a senior management level   
    • Ability to build relationships quickly to identify opportunities and transform them into action
    • Strong analytical and strategic thinking
    • Ability to travel (10% to 30%)
    • Works effectively with cross-functional teams and all levels of management [internal and external]
    • Ability to manage multiple workstreams and track details
    • Consulting experience or Solutions architect experience with customer facing skills is highly desirable verbal and written, communication skills
    • Knowledge of Cybersecurity best practices and Data Protection, Privacy and Security
    • Information Technology and System Knowledge

Working Model:

    • This role is available as fully home-based and generally would require you to attend on-site meetings only occasionally based on business needs. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
$200,000 - $240,000 a year
For residents of CA, WA, NY, and CO, the pay range for this position is $200,000-$240,000. This range reflects the minimum and maximum base salary for this position plus any variable earnings, if applicable to the position. The individual compensation may be dependent on a variety of factors, such as geographic location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, and performance.
Should you accept this position, you must consent to and pass a Background Investigation, which includes (subject to country law), extended education, and additional criminal and civil checks.
