Join our team as a Senior DevOps Engineer.
This is a hybrid role based out of Amsterdam, Netherlands!
We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team and play a pivotal role in shaping, scaling, and securing our cloud infrastructure. You will be driving the adoption of DevOps practices, mentoring team members, and collaborating across engineering teams to ensure our infrastructure supports our growing business needs.
As part of this role, you will manage complex, automated environments, implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) best practices, and take part in a planned on-call rotation. If you thrive in fast-paced environments, love automation, and enjoy building scalable systems, this position is for you.
What You'll Do
- Design, deploy, and maintain highly available and scalable cloud infrastructure
- Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions to accelerate software delivery
- Manage and support Kubernetes clusters and containerized applications
- Drive automation using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
- Ensure infrastructure security and compliance using industry best practices
- Monitor, log, and optimize system performance with Datadog and related tools
- Mentor and coach engineers to strengthen DevOps culture across the organization
- Participate in 24/7 on-call duty as part of a planned rotation
- Collaborate closely with developers, architects, and product teams to align infrastructure with business goals
What It Takes
- 5+ years of experience as a DevOps or Site Reliability Engineer
- Proven hands-on experience with Kubernetes in production
- Strong knowledge of AWS Cloud (networking, scaling, security, monitoring)
- Experience with IaC tools
- Solid understanding of cloud networking, scalability, and security
- Excellent English communication skills
- SQL and database management (PostgreSQL preferred)
- Familiarity with monitoring and security frameworks
- Prior experience working in geographically distributed teams
