Our first step was to make streamlined business financing (for example, a $750,000 loan for a dentist to buy her first practice) available to busy healthcare practitioners at their convenience -- instead of during the typical 9-to-5 banker’s hours. On the back end, our software makes our team more efficient at processing -- without the overhead of a brick-and-mortar presence -- saving doctors even more time and money. This efficiency drives faster funding and lower rates. Since making our first loan in 2016, we’ve become a top lender in the practice finance space. Going forward, we’re focused on expanding our service offerings to healthcare professionals with a commitment to simplicity, convenience, and efficiency.

About the role:

We're looking for an enthusiastic, team-oriented loan document specialist to join our fast-growing, Columbus-based loan ops team. Reporting to our Documentation Manager, you'll have the opportunity to shape process, increase efficiency, and drive the direction of a function that's fundamentally critical to the strength and value of our fast-growing portfolio. If you have tremendous attention to detail and love finding ways to work efficiently without sacrificing accuracy, this could be the role for you!

What you'll do:

    • Ensure all of our loans are properly documented in accordance with the loan structure outlined by our credit team
    • Execute and help create processes that drive 100% documentation accuracy
    • Prepare full loan document packages for acquisition, refinance, expansion, equipment, and commercial real estate loans to meet closing dates
    • Draft purchase orders using our standard templates
    • Communicate daily with our closing, underwriting, and loan ops teams to drive efficiency and accuracy across our entire funding process
    • Collaborate with your teammates and partners to improve our documentation procedures and training materials
    • Identify and share opportunities to streamline our process and software

What you have:

    • The ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment without constant oversight
    • The adaptability and flexibility needed to change direction and shift priorities quickly
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Comfort with (or willingness to learn) basic software systems

Not required, but nice to have:

    • Experience in finance, healthcare, or technology
    • Familiarity with LaserPro or other loan document-generation software
