About The Role

The Media Buyer at Proxima will be responsible for ensuring our clients achieve and maximize their ROI with exceptional support and campaign excellence. The ideal candidate has extensive Media Buying experience, developing and scaling a client’s ad account success. They will use their expertise in data analysis, interpretation of Paid Social best practices and recommendations to measure the effectiveness of our performance against client goals.

This person will be responsible for developing and implementing ad account and campaign setup, creation and building of ads, testing and optimizing campaigns. They will utilize their experience in buying media and understanding of the Paid Social advertising space to power their decision making. Additionally,  work closely with the Sales Team and Account Management counterparts to identify opportunities for growth and expansion with existing clients. What You'll Do

    • Build, manage and optimize campaigns on Meta, TikTok and Google platforms
    • Monitor, analyze and provide recommendations on campaigns that aligns with media metric goals
    • Measure the success of campaigns using metrics such as CPA, CAC, ROI, ROAS & LTV
    • Analyze and interpret data and metrics to measure  the effectiveness of performance and adjust strategies as needed
    • Work closely with Account Management & Sales Teams to create holistic Campaign Strategies across acquisition, retention and remarketing goals 
    • Understand Paid Social Advertising and full marketing funnel 
    • Ability to identify opportunities for growth and expansion with existing clients
    • Provide regular reporting and updates to clients on campaign performance, ROI, and other relevant metrics
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor to help them achieve their business goals

What You'll Need

    • 2-4 years of digital media buying, with a focus on Paid Media and analytics
    • Previous experience in Marketing/Media Agency or Social Publisher or Social Marketing Partner
    • Strong understanding of Google and Meta analytics, including experience with Meta Ads Manager, and Meta Analytics; experience with additional Social Publishers welcome
    • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data to provide actionable insights for clients
    • Understand Paid Social Advertising and full marketing funnel 
    • Familiarity with attribution models and 3rd party attribution tools
    • Strong interpersonal skills and Client Management experience needed
    • Process driven, project management skills and cross functional teams experience a plus
    • Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
    • Experience managing paid media performance across B2C/D2C client accounts 
    • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business or related field required
    • The base salary range for this role is between $90,000 - $100,000 USD including bonus
    • Candidates based in NYC required.
$90,000 - $100,000 a year
The base salary range represents the low and high end of the anticipated salary range for this position. The actual base salary offered for this position will depend on numerous factors including individual performance, skills and experience. The base salary is just one component of Proxima’s compensation package which includes a wide range of medical, dental, vision and other benefits, as well as equity.
