We are currently seeking an outstanding candidate to fill the position of Head of International Policy. In this role, you will work with the Proxima team on a wide variety of topics to develop and maintain relationships with government agencies, industry partners, and other relevant stakeholders. The ideal candidate is knowledgeable and adept at navigating the public policy landscape, particularly at the EU level.
If you have:
- Bachelor's degree in Public Policy, Political Science, International Relations, Law, Economics or related fields, or STEM field. Master's degree preferred;
- Minimum of 10 years experience in public policy, government relations, or partnership development, with strong preference for EU-level experience;
- Willingness to travel, as required;
- Fluency in English, familiarity with German and French preferred;
You will help us with:
- Monitor and analyze policy developments related to fusion energy at EU and international levels;
- Promote and coordinate the participation of Proxima Fusion at government hearings, public forums, and industry conferences;
- Carry out research and craft memos, white papers, and policy proposals related to regulation and funding opportunities for fusion energy development;
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government officials, industry partners, and academic institutions;
- Identify potential partnership opportunities to advance the company's mission and objectives;
- Contribute to sourcing of public funding opportunities;
- Develop proposals and other material for funding applications.
