Are you a sourcing and procurement expert with a passion for technology? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy building strong relationships with vendors? If so, this opportunity could be your perfect fit! As our Procurement Manager, you will play a vital role in acquiring the machinery and resources needed to drive our business forward.
If you have:
- 3+ years of experience in technical procurement or a related field, with a focus on single-part production;
- Strong understanding of technical specifications and the ability to evaluate complex equipment/services;
- Proven track record of negotiating favourable contracts and managing supplier relationships;
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, both written and verbal;
- Proficiency in procurement software and best practices;
- A strong engineering background;
- [Preferred]: Fluency in German;
- [Preferred]: Leadership and team management skills;
You will help us by:
- Developing and implementing sourcing strategies for various technical needs;
- Identifying and qualifying new vendors, evaluating proposals, and negotiating contracts;
- Managing existing supplier relationships and ensuring quality, cost, delivery performance and their associated risks;
- Overseeing the procurement process from requisition to finalization, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures;
- Managing our procurement tool and building a healthy supply chain;
- Supporting R&D activities with insights from the manufacturing supply chain;
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders (engineering, finance, operations) to understand and meet their specific needs;
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of procurement processes and efficiency.
