We are seeking exceptional candidates with a strong computational background and good physics intuition. Candidates with experience in developing simulation frameworks and models for customized applications are encouraged to apply. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of solving real-world problems. Expertise in stellarators or in the fusion domain is not necessary. We value a collaborative spirit and a willingness to work with us in a dynamic startup environment.

If you have:

    • Master’s or PhD in physics, mathematics, computational science, or a similar field;
    • Experience in a computationally intensive research field or industry, contributing to building code bases or simulation frameworks;
    • Worked at the forefront of research, pushing boundaries and demonstrating strong problem-solving skills;
    • Demonstrated analytical skills with a solid mathematical foundation, touch-points with differential geometry are preferred;
    • Solid software development skills and a proactive problem-solving mindset;

You will help us by:

    • Contributing to our internal stellarator optimization and simulation code;
    • Developing reduced models for performance prediction, encompassing both physics and engineering aspects;
    • Optimizing stellarators with enhanced performance and economic viability;
    • Collaborating with partners from public institutions to foster innovation and knowledge exchange;
    • Driving innovation by exploring new frontiers in simulation and optimization.
