This is a systems level Electrical Engineer position that will allow you to work on innovative designs with consumer and B2B appeal that meet size, performance, cost, and quality targets. This is a great opportunity to work across the full design cycle of a connected hardware device that communicates with a software app in real time.

Responsibilities

    • Design, schematics and layout reviews for products under development  
    • Maintain and update electronic schematics, layouts and BOM for current and past production products
    • Maintain and update electronic documentation (PRD, user guides, install guides,  etc.)
    • Troubleshooting and test automation planning (In-house  and production)
    • Collaborate with ME to make sure all elements that affect ESD, EMI, RF, and reliability maintain design requirements
    • Define system test criteria and draft test plans for internal teams
    • Quick Prototyping of Proof of Concept devices  (small run PCB fabrication, solder, test and verify)

Skills & Experience

    • 3+ years of industry experience
    • BS or higher in electrical engineering or equivalent
    • OrCAD, Allegro or Altium eCAD tool experience
    • PCB Design and Fabrication experience
    • Strong experience designing mixed-signal circuits, including sensors and RF modules
    • Demonstrated experience moving from ODM to CM
    • Proficiency with EE lab instruments and their use in verification and troubleshooting (ie: Oscilloscope,  Logic Analyzer, etc)
    • Able to deliver with little oversight
    • Strong communication skills
    • Hands-on experience with manufacturing including low level and large scale manufacturing in Asia a bonus
