PURVIS Systems has immediate openings for an Engineering Technician to to support torpedo test equipment including the MK 710, MK 695, and MK 660.

The day-to-day responsibilities of this role include:

    • Develop and build test fixtures for Printed Circuit Boards (PCB’s) that are capable of validating performance and function.
    • Perform operational tests on test equipment, circuit components, and systems, to determine condition, analyze performance, and isolate malfunctions.
    • Analyze/ identify circuit malfunctions.
    • Rework PCBs to alter electronic pathways, nodes, and components.
    • Map known good circuit boards to compare static component values against fault PCBs.
    • Completed Navy certification for Gold Disk Developers program. Skills used to “map” known good circuit boards, to compare static component values against faulty PCBs.

Qualifications:

    • Solder and Cable manufacturing certifications
    • 3-5 years experience supporting Navy systems.
    • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Experience using Navy logistics databases/systems.
    • Accuracy, quality, and attention to detail.
Candidate must have or be able to obtain a government security clearance to the level of SECRET.
